Our IP litigation practice is led by seasoned trial lawyer John Barr, who has tried nearly 30 cases and handled more than 50 patent suits nationwide, including victories in United States District Courts in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. John was previously co-head of IP Litigation at Bracewell and served in the IP Disputes Section of King & Spalding. John is a sixth-generation Texan with extensive experience in Tyler, Marshall, Texarkana, Sherman and Waco, Texas.
