Nicolas Maggio

Associate

Nicolas Maggio is an associate with Meade Neese & Barr LLP involved in business litigation and patent litigation disputes. He began his career with the firm as a summer associate in 2021 and continued working part-time during his third year of law school.

Nicolas grew up in the Houston area near Johnson Space Center. After high school, Nicolas attended Texas Tech University where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with a minor in chemistry and mathematics. After graduating from Texas Tech, he worked for SAMSON Controls, Inc., a German industrial control valve company at their U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility in Baytown, Texas. At SAMSON, Nicolas worked various roles including technical sales for the U.S. market, managing the after-sales field service and repair department for the U.S. and Canada, and as a senior product manager for the Americas handling both technical and business-related matters for a wide range of industrial applications and markets.

After working at SAMSON for nearly 10 years, Nicolas then made the decision to attend law school at the South Texas College of Law in Houston where he graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, he received multiple CALI awards for earning the highest grade in class, including Patent Prosecution and Corporations.
